Ingredients
1 pound sliced white mushrooms
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon soy sauce
¼ cup dry white wine
1 teaspoon minced garlic
½ teaspoon dried thyme
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
Steps
Add butter and oil to a large sauté pan and melt together over medium-high heat
Add the mushrooms to the pan followed by the soy sauce and toss with the oil mixture
Spread the mushrooms in an even layer across the bottom of the pan and allow them to cook for 4 to 5 minutes undisturbed without stirring them
Pour in the white wine and stir the mushrooms until the wine has evaporated
Add the minced garlic and thyme to the pan
Cook the mushrooms for an additional 3 to 4 minutes, stirring until cooked
Season the mushrooms with some salt and black pepper to taste
